Once you enter the home, attention will be drawn to the dining area which consist of a table created using designer glass blocks. Not only with a design statement in mind, it also permits light to pass through and gives the illusion of more space surrounding it.
In the living room to maximize space, the carpentry build was incorporated under the ceiling beam instead of building it by the wall and protruding out towards the sofa.
Integrated with the dining wall area is a door that leads into the master bedroom. It’s cleverly designed to be concealed, and when closed, the entire space gives out strong lounge vibes.
This table serves as a prep counter when needed and is planned at a bar table height for a more casual dining. The dining lightsare housed in a concrete mould to complement the different finishes around, the spot lighting highlights the pattern of the countertop and definitely adds ambience to the space.
This beautiful dining space was also made possible by the couple’s lifestyle of a minimal kitchen concept with only a single short row of cabinet remains. The lack of storage was compensated by having a double tier design for the upper cabinets allowing deeper and more storage space. The fridge and oven is just located by the entrance which makes hosting guests convenient and baking a pleasure to do in an open space.
The master bedroom combines the two bathrooms and two bedrooms into a spacious en-suite. To create a distinction of the walkway from the bedroom, different floor tiles are used.
Wooden plank tiles gives the impression of a longer walkway and to contrast well with the stone design tiles in the walk-in wardrobe and bed area.
The owner’s love for stone textures is evident throughout as seen on the wardrobe design and the striking stone panels for this bed head feature wall is simply another statement piece.
To make a dream come true, his and her sinks was installed in the common bathroom. Stepping into the master bathroom through glass French doors, a rain shower set is placed perfectly centered with a lengthy recessed niche wall.
As the saying goes, your home is a reflection of you and a collection of your favourite things. We are truly delighted that the lifestyle of the owners are elevated in this home and every area of the home is a conversation starter.
